Meet the EPCF Team

I am the parent of a child with additional needs.

I previously had a career in Social Care and Local Authority Work for over 30 years, primarily for Ealing and Surrey. In Ealing, over the course of 22 years, I progressed from a practitioner to a Team Manager for the Children with Disabilities Team. I then had the privilege of establishing and leading the award-winning Building My Future Team (BMF), which was funded as an innovation project by the Department of Education.

I am committed to ensuring that the voices of parents and carers are central to local decision-making and that all families feel represented and heard..

I am a parent of two children with additional needs.

Previously I have worked for EPCF as an Administrator, Lead Parent for Education and as a parent rep attending various meetings and events for nearly a decade.

Previously I worked as a teacher so am very familiar in all areas of education. I am particularly interested in all aspects of social care for our children, young people and families.

I work as a Clinical Researcher and am very interested in exploring a direct connection between parents and health professionals like Speech and Language Therapists (SLT) and Occupational Therapists (OT), fostering deeper understanding and connection, particularly within BAME communities.
